Mazatlan Snapshot

I posted about Mazatlan a couple of year ago, you can see those posts here: Guide to Mazatlan – General TipsMazatlan – DoMazatlan – StayMazatlan – Eat. This was the last year of my family’s timeshare and no one else could go so my boyfriend and I headed down. As much as I love Mazatlan, I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon and I have a ton of other places in Mexico I need to check off my travel list. This post is a little sparse since I didn’t take photos with my DSLR (yes that means these were all taken with my iPhone) and decided not to create a complete guide for this blog.

First time hiking to El Faro (the lighthouse). I went at 11am which was a mistake, way too hot. I do recommend going for the views, the camera doesn’t do it justice. From here I walked to the malecon and an additional 4 miles.

From this spot you don’t get bothered by the beach side vendors but can still purchase their wares if you want to. Mango is always my favorite.
